Why Volunteering is important?

My journey as a volunteer and active citizen has started since I was 12 years old. Since then, I can say that this journey full of challenges but quite dear to me, has influenced the development of my personality and my perspective on the world.

For these 7 years, I have been engaged with various organizations, including TOKA, where I have acquired various skills and abilities which have helped me both in my personal and professional life. Now, I am more communicative, collaborative, creative, and more open-minded.

I have often heard talk of voluntary work being underestimated in relation to professional work which is ultimately rewarded with financial means. However, volunteering is definitely more than just a free activity. Through volunteer work, young people can prepare for the job market by learning from the different experiences they have faced. Therefore I strongly believe that volunteering is one of the most important values ??of a person because it tells a lot about the point of view of an individual. Among other things, volunteerism is a bridge between the citizen, the community, and society in general.

So I invite all my peers to join in the adventure full of energy and creativity for the good of the community!
