WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
TOKA is looking for two full-time Project Assistants who can work in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, be proactive with the team, and can work under time pressure. The ideal profile of this person would be someone who has good organizational skills, becomes independent quickly in accomplishing tasks, adapts easily to the team, and shows potential to advance within the organization.
The Project Assistant should ensure that they support, organize and lead project activities including:
Administrative and operational support for project implementation;
Logistical support for program managers;
Carrying out any necessary administrative tasks, such as research and correspondence;
Communication with project stakeholders, project partners, schools, and relevant project persons;
Managing participants for summer camps, workshops, conferences, study visits;
Assistance in organizing summer camps, workshops, conferences, study visits;
Takes care of the creation of promotional materials;
Keeps records of all information related to the project;
Registration and maintenance of project documentation;
Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
A student in social sciences or graduate in social sciences;
Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office programs;
Excellent communication skills in speaking and writing, in Albanian and English;
Excellent organizational and planning skills;
Ability to work under pressure, in a short time and adaptable to changing priorities;
Previous experience in the field of education and work with young people;
Willingness to work effectively both independently and in a team environment;
Collaborator with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and high work ethic.
The target start date is March 15, 2021. TOKA has a standard three-month probationary period for new hires.
