Merita Gashi

Merita Gashi, with her extensive experience in justice and state-building, among others as a consultant, lecturer, and columnist, has joined our team as a board member.

Merita holds a Bachelor’s degree of Albanian and French language and literature from the University of Prishtina. She also holds two master degrees in Comparative Literature, and Geopolitics from Paris.

Currently, Merita serves as the Advisor to the Chief State Prosecutor and teaches political science in College Universum. In her past, she worked as an adviser in the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, and Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning.

She has extensive experience in leading and evaluating processes and projects in public institutions, as well as in developing human capacities.

Merita is an activist of the victims of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, and a passionate mountaineer.
