“Volunteerism of the Year” Campaign now has 47 Supporters!

Kosovo is full of changemakers who see community improvement as a personal responsibility, and we believe that everyone’s contribution should be honored and rewarded – especially when all this dedication comes in the form of volunteer work. 

For this reason, we are launching the first  annual campaign and event for the Volunteerism of the Year Awards with the aim of recognizing, promoting, and expanding participation in volunteering. 

This campaign includes all youth, municipalities, schools, businesses, diaspora representatives, and public figures who contribute to the community in various ways, with a special focus on contributions through volunteer work. 

So far, we are happy to announce that a wide community of 47 supporters has joined this campaign, including 7 municipalities such as Ferizaj, Istog, Hani i Elezit, Podujeva, Peja, Suhareka, and Prizren. 

In addition to institutions, we have 34 local organizations supporting us, such as KCSF, ATOMI, CDF, Mother Teresa Society, American Advising Center, YMCA, Germin, Down Syndrome Kosova, EC Ma Ndryshe, CIPOF, OMM Gjethi, NGO ZANA, KVRL Drenas, KVRL Gjakova, Albinfo, Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism, SHE-ERA, Foundation 17, Kosova Women 4 Women, ICK, YIHR, 7 Arte, DokuFest, HANDIKOS, The Ideas Partnership, Ipko Foundation, ANIBAR, QIPS, ETEA, Laps, Orca, QHPSM, QKSGJ, Teach for Kosova; and 6 international organizations such as GAIA, Play International, Manchester Aid to Kosovo, KYC, RYCO, and the British Embassy.

We are very grateful to have these local, national, and international institutions and organizations among us to support the campaign, which aims to recognize and reward all those who are committed to making Kosovo better.
