Kosova wins the 3rd price at the first regional Service-Learning competition

Out of 23 finalist projects from regional countries, the school “Zenit ” from Prishtina gained third place with the project “Cleaning River “Llap ” and building seats, tables, and garbage bins”.

In the official ceremony during which the Prices were announced, Haxhere Mehmeti, the teacher who led the project, stated among others:  “This award is important for the club at our school because it motivates us to continue with a lot of energy to implement projects that will affect the improvement of the community, increase awareness and the development of human values in all of us.”

The first edition of the Regional Service-Learning Award included projects from 6 countries: Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, and Slovakia. 3 projects from Kosovo have managed to enter the finalist’s list.

Service-Learning is supported by the European Union Office in Kosovo, through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights EIDHR.
