WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
TOKA is seeking to appoint a full-time Projects Manager who will lead the successful implementation of the organization’s new and existing projects. We are seeking someone with experience in managing complex projects and budgets, with multiple partners. The ideal profile is an individual with strong organizational abilities, good IT skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, excited by unfamiliar situations and challenging problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure project activities are implemented in a timely and quality manner, in accordance with TOKA program standards and in full compliance with all donor requirements as specified in projects contracts, including:
Manage project resources, team, and budget, according to project scope and within specified timelines.
Identify and manage project risks, including escalating issues when necessary.
Develop, maintain and monitor a plan of activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; ensure efficient and effective implementation of project activities, based on the TOKA and donor Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system.
Manage the relationship with relevant donors – including narrative and financial reporting.
Build and maintain institutional partnerships with ministries, donors, local government, and other key stakeholders that are relevant to project success; serve as a contact person for all communications related to project activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure the highest level of visibility of the project activities, in collaboration with TOKAs Communication Coordinator and other relevant stakeholders.
Any other duty as required by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in social sciences;
1-3 years experience in working with projects, including contract management; experience in international projects is an advantage;
Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent communication skills in reading, speaking, and writing, in Albanian and English;
Ability/willingness to travel internationally/regionally;
Excellent organizational and planning skills; including the ability to manage several projects simultaneously;
Ability to work under pressure and in a short time; and adaptable to changing priorities;
Willingness to work effectively both independently and in a team environment;
Collaborator with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and high work ethic.
The target start date is 1st March 2021. TOKA has a standard three-month probation period for new hires. The role is permanent subject to satisfactory performance, which is evaluated on an annual basis.
