THE “INTERNATIONAL” CAMP ENDED SUCCESSFULLY!

August 14, 2018

The “International” camp ended successfully!

Our Albanian, American, Macedonian, French, Israeli and Palestinian campers had a memorable week during which they explored nature, created new friendships, tried local dishes and developed among others their woodworking skills.

They also explored their creativity by creating artistic souvenirs from recycled materials in the woods, challenged themselves by rock climbing at the Rugova Canyon, learned to play the drums, enjoyed musical and sports activities and organized a campers’ talent show.

The camp culminated with their service learning project, during which they constructed seats from concrete and wood, and drew a hopscotch for the yard of the primary school of “Dardania” in Peja.

It was a week filled with fun and nature, learning and creation, and skills development too!

//This camp was financed by the Democratic Society Promotion (DSP) project – financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (DANIDA), and managed by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF). This camp was also supported by the international environmental organization WWF Adria and the Municipality of Prishtina.
