TOKA is one of the 4 winning organizations of the the first DIG DATA challenge by the Millennium Foundation Kosovo (MCC)!
We are very happy to be one of the winning teams of the “Governance Interventions based on Open Data” with our “Girls Power Up” project. Girls Power Up is an educational and comprehensive skills-development training program for 10 and 11 grade high-school girls in rural areas.
Through this program we want to empower girls from the rural areas by developing skills that increase their employment opportunities and make them more resilient to social pressures.
At the end of the project we will share our findings, hoping that these data will serve future initiatives to become more effective in empowering women in Kosovo!
