The call to join the Youth Leaders Academy has been reopened.

TOKA re-opens the call for all young people who want to join the 35 leaders of the Academy who are currently working to implement the first Solidarity Action Day  in Kosovo!

The first-ever Solidarity Action Day in Kosovo will:

– start on the first or second Saturday of June,

– engage 500 volunteers (15-24 years old),

– with over 50 partner businesses,

– support youth initiatives for mental health and special needs children of Kosovo.


Join the Youth Leaders Academy now and work with other leaders in one of these two Working Groups (mentored by TOKA staff):

  • Logistics Group (responsible for the tasks listed below)

– Provides stands in the field;

– Provides materials for field activities;

– Provides food and drinks for volunteers and Leaders during the Solidarity Action Day;

– Reimburses transportation, distributes promotional materials, collects parental permits and distributes certificates to volunteers;
– Coordinates with other Working Groups;

– Responsible for the administrative work for the Solidarity Action Day .

  • Recruitment & Management of Volunteers Group (responsible for the tasks listed below)

– Open the online call for volunteers who will be engaged during the Solidarity Action Day;

– Holds meetings with higher education institutions and other stakeholders;

– Recruits volunteers in these institutions;

– Selects and manages volunteers for Solidarity Action Day;

– Leads and coordinates field visits;
– Coordinates with other Working Groups;

– Prepare volunteers for their work during Solidarity Action Day.


Who can apply?

✔️Youth of age 16-25;

✔️Youth from all municipalities of Kosovo;

✔️All those who have at least 1 year of experience in leadership or work with young people;

✔️All those who are or are not part of TOKA’s programs;

✔️All those who are enthusiastic about bringing positive changes to the community.

What will happen next?
After the evaluation, the accepted applicants will be invited to participate in an initial training that will take place on April 1 and 2. Participation in this training is required to continue further engagement in the working groups.
