It brought together – for the first time – a group of Girl Scouts from USA and Australia with their peers from Kosova. It was a unique experience for the Kosovar girls to have an authentic Girl Scouts experience – with songs, teamwork rituals and the very delicious smores over the campfire. The international girls, from their side, made new friends from Kosovo and learned more about our culture.
Special thanks go to Suzanne Sontag, Jean Phillipson and Rachel Morgan for having the vision, will and warmth to make this happen.
