These four words summarize and describe best the effort and dedication for the Solidarity Action Day happening for the first time in Kosovo these days. In just two days of work, we have managed to engage 130 volunteers, whose experiences so far have been amazing and meaningful.
The newest and most special volunteer of this Day has been none other than the President of the Republic of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani who joined us at Dukagjini Bookstore. Besides working at the library, the President thanked us for our work in empowering youth and promised to continue supporting and promoting volunteering as a valuable experience and contribution to the community.
Solidarity Action Day is part of the environmental activities of the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (SIDA), through its “Human Rightivism” Program that is implemented by CDF and TOKA; is supported by the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) ‘EJA Kosova’ – co-financed by the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (SIDA), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg; as from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. This project is developed in cooperation with the SAME network of organizations.
