Nominations for the 2026 Volunteerism of the Year Awards Are Closed: 100 Nominations Received!

The call for nominations for the third edition of the Volunteerism of the Year Awards closed on 25 October 2026 at 23:59.

We received a total of 100 nominations across 3 award categories.

We thank everyone who submitted a nomination, as well as our partners and supporters who helped spread the call throughout Kosovo and the diaspora.

📌 What happens next?

The nominations will be evaluated in two stages:

1. Administrative review – TOKA’s team will review all nominations to check that the required information has been provided and that nominees meet the criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions for each award.
2. Qualitative assessment – Nominations that pass the first stage will be reviewed by external evaluators, who will select the winners for each award.

📌 When will the winners be announced?

The winners of the 2026 Volunteerism of the Year Awards will be announced during the international conference taking place on 23 and 24 November 2026. We’ll share more details about the conference soon.

The Volunteerism of the Year Awards are supported by the European Union Office in Kosovo and the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) programme “EJA Kosovë,” co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Sweden.
