In celebration of TOKA’s 10th anniversary, we launched the “LULËZOJNË” Scholarship, through which we are paying forward the support we’ve received by investing in those who need it most. On June 12, 2025, over 200 guests joined TOKA’s Gala Night – an inspiring evening to celebrate youth potential and our shared commitment to education. With your support, this vision became a reality. This is when “LULËZOJNË” started its journey! The “LULËZOJNË” Scholarship empowers Kosova’s youth who are ready to thrive, but face financial barriers. These students are community changemakers, academically driven, and eager to give back. Each scholarship provides up to €1,000 to cover tuition, housing, study materials, and essential expenses – allowing recipients to focus fully on their education and future impact. €23,500 were raised from businesses, diaspora and individual donors, securing 22 scholarships including young women, rural youth, and first-generation students.
“LULËZOJNË with ISA Consulting Group” Scholarship – awarded to 11 third-year students in the field of Information Technology, supported by ISA Consulting Group. ISA Consulting Group is a company headquartered in Tampa, Florida, providing consulting and technology services across North America and the Western Balkans. “LULËZOJNË with Mehmet Gjevori” Scholarship – awarded to two female students from rural areas who are passionate about education, law, the Albanian language, and volunteerism, supported by the Xharra Family. Mehmet Gjevori was a distinguished figure in Albanian education and culture, known for his dedication to education and his deep love for the Albanian language. The purpose of this scholarship is to honor Mehmet Gjevori’s educational and cultural legacy while empowering young women through access to education. “LULËZOJNË with Fatlinda Drejta-Karahoda” Scholarship – awarded to three female students pursuing studies in pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, or natural sciences, supported by Jehona & Era Gjurgjeala. Fatlinda Drejta-Karahoda was a distinguished pharmacist with a deep passion for education. Known for her generosity and compassion, she was dedicated to supporting students, colleagues, and family members alike. The purpose of this scholarship is to honor the legacy of a professional woman and leader in science, while empowering new generations of young women to become leaders in the natural sciences. “LULËZOJNË with Innovative Solutions” Scholarship – awarded to one third-year student at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FIEK), who also benefits from a professional internship at the company, supported by Innovative Solutions. Innovative Solutions is a software development company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Brussels. Unbranded "LULËZOJNË" Scholarships – awarded to five students without a specific profile, as requested by the donors, supported by ALSA UK, VLERA, Betim Deva and Flutra Osmani, and other individual donors. The purpose of the scholarship is to empower young people from the most underprivileged communities in Kosovo and provide opportunities for advancement through education and social inclusion.
