A New Journey Begins for the 2025–2026 “Lulëzojnë” Scholars

We are thrilled to announce the 22 winners of the “Lulëzojnë” Youth Scholarship Program for the 2025–2026 academic year! Please see the list of WINNERS HERE!

Selection process

This year’s interest for applying in “Lulëzojnë” Scholarship was outstanding:

• 1023 applications received in total
• 973 valid applications reviewed in Phase 1 – Administrative Check
• 260 applicants passed to Phase 2 – Qualitative Review
• 713 applicants did not pass the administrative check
• 48 finalists interviewed in Phase 3 – Interviews
  

The evaluation process was conducted in three transparent and inclusive stages:

1. Administrative Check – conducted by TOKA staff.
   
2. Qualitative Review – carried out by external representatives from partner organizations, academia, and donors.
3. Interviews – conducted by TOKA staff together with external evaluators, focusing on motivation, community contribution, and long-term vision.
   

Who was involved?

More than 20 organizations, businesses, and donors contributed to Phases 2 and 3, including: EcoZ, Activism Roots, QIPS, University of Prishtina Career Development Center, VLERA, Innovative Solutions, ISA Consulting Group, Bonevet, Cacttus Education, SOS Villages/YEEP Program, American Advising Center, Terre des Hommes, AMC Health, and the donor families Gjurgjeala – Karahoda and some of our individual donors.

The 22 scholarships were awarded as follows:

• “Lulëzojnë with ISA Consulting Group” Scholarship – 11 third-year IT students.
• “Lulëzojnë with Mehmet Gjevori” Scholarship – 2 female students from rural areas, passionate about education, the Albanian language, and volunteerism.
• “Lulëzojnë with Fatlinda Drejta-Karahoda” Scholarship – 3 female students in pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, or natural sciences.
• “Innovative Solutions” Scholarship – 1 third-year student at FIEK, who will also benefit from a professional internship at the company.
• Open Scholarships – 5 students without a specific profile, as requested by the donors.
