1, 2, 3! Camps are here!

No summer is complete without TOKA’s full of energy and fun camps. 

Since 2015, TOKA has organized camps to educate Kosovar youth. This year, same as every year, TOKA is organizing summer camps for all young people in Kosovo. Camps are educational experiences that aim to help develop new leaders through positive community goals.

So far TOKA has organized over 50 camps including over 1,000 participants not only from Kosovo but also from the region, Europe, USA – and even from New Zealand!

For summer 2022, 4 different camps are planned:

– Camp “Youth Think Green” from 22 – 25 June (Fier, Albania);
– “Activism Camp” from 02 – 07 July (Novobërd, Kosova);
– “International Camp” from 17 – 23 July (Kosova);
– “Me and Nature” Camp from 10 – 15 August (Kosova).

The first camp for this year is the “You Think Green” Camp. Its mission is to make us one with nature, through teaching us about environmental activism and connecting us through fun games and sports in the beautiful beach of Albania. The participants will have the opportunity to sleep in the open sky and make friends with youngsters from Kosovo and Albania. This camp is dedicated to young people aged 18-19, who have been part of the Super-Volunteer Clubs, Super-Active Citizen Clubs and Debate Clubs. (Applications for this camp are closed now).

The second camp is the Activism Camp, which aims to develop leadership skills, cooperation, communication and will be held in the amazing venue of Lura Agrotourism, Municipality of Novo Brdo. This Camp is open to young people aged 14-16 years old. (Applications for this camp are closed now).

The third camp is the “International Camp”, returns as one of the most fun and joyful camps! This camp will gather for 7 days 40 participants from Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia and North America, who will have the opportunity to combine their experiences enjoying the natural beauties of Kosovo and developing various skills. This Camp will be held in English with participants aged 16-17 in Kosovo in a location that will be confirmed soon. Click here to apply for the International Camp!

Finally, we end the summer with another camp very dear to all, “Nature and Me Camp”, which will gather 50 participants from Kosovo where campers will learn more about themselves, get to know themselves better and have the opportunity to reflect on themselves and certain situations, all while enjoying the beautiful nature. This Camp is open to any young people aged 15-17 in Kosovo in a location that will be confirmed soon. The call for application for this camp opens on July 15.
