“Renewable energy production” – Terfilat, Loyola Gymnasium, Prizren

  • Project name: Environmental education (Renewable energy production)
  • The problem: Energy consumption in big schools is massive so the volunteers of this club decided to create a sustainable but also cheap way of producing energy that in the same time protects the environment.
  • Project goal: Build two generators that work with wind energy and also install the power supply distribution.
  • Purpose: Super Volunteers have built generators that transform wind into electricity and have also fundraised to buy the necessary equipment and install the power distribution supplies in their school yard.
  • Project beneficiaries: 500 pupils of the school, 100 teachers and staff of the school
  • Location of the project – In Loyola-Gymnasium, Prizren
  • Skills learned: Leadership, Teamwork, Research skills
  • Budget: 595 eur
