FOURTH “IMPROVING A PUBLIC SCHOOL” CAMPAIGN PROJECT COMPLETED!

August 15, 2018

The fourth project of the “Improve a public school” campaign has been successfully completed!

TOKA’s campers, who were part of the “International” camp, have constructed seats from concrete and wood, planted garden flowers and painted a hopscotch for the yard of the primary school of “Dardania” in Peja.

The project idea was given by the teacher Merita Kelmendi Dervishaj and put into life by our 40 Albanian, American, Macedonian, French, Israeli and Palestinian campers during the camp service learning sessions.

In addition to having fun and socializing, the campers developed their woodworking, painting, planning and cooperation skills, while giving back to the community.

//This camp was financed by the Democratic Society Promotion (DSP) project – financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (DANIDA), and managed by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF). This camp was also supported by the international environmental organization WWF Adria and the Municipality of Prishtina.
