NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH OF KAÇANIK, ELEZ HAN, GJILAN AND VITI!

Through our project “Get empowered today, change your community tomorrow” we are working to empower around 100 youth from Kaçanik, Elez Han, Gjilan and Vitia by developing important life and work skills in them.

Among others, through this one-year project, the youth are being exposed to models of critical thinking and leading changes in the community. In the process they are also enhancing their communication and cooperation skills.

All these skills are key for them to develop resilience and to better make decisions about themselves, as well as give back to the community through service learning.

One of the project participants, Emira Kuka (16) from Kaçanik, felt very empowered through this experience. She said “I have learned to get courage and speak my mind, was able to open myself up to others and made many new like-minded friends”.
