Open Call for Youth Employability Camp from Dukagjini Region

NGO TOKA supported by the German Government through GIZ Kosovo has opened the call for applications for the Employability Camp, a three-day program that aims to empower young people for the labor market through the development of professional and personal skills.

This camp is offered free of charge, providing an inclusive experience for 25 young people aged 18–29 from the municipalities of Deçan, Gjakova, Istog, Klina and Peja, who belong to the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities and are unemployed or looking for work. The camp will be held from 28 to 30 August 2025.

What does the camp offer?

During the three days of the camp, participants will engage in practical activities and mentoring, designed to better prepare them for the labor market. The program includes:

• Ability to draft an effective CV and cover letter,
• Preparation for job interviews and professional communication,
• Development of soft skills: self-confidence, communication, teamwork and critical thinking,
• Knowledge about digital and green transformation,
• Knowledge about conflict resolution,
• Opportunities for meetings with representatives of businesses and Employment Offices,
• Designing an individual career plan, and
• Opportunities for mentoring even after the end of the camp.
