The “Youth for Podujeva” project ends with extraordinary success!

January 23, 2024

The “Alfa” Super Volunteers Club, led by Dardana Veliu at the “Kongresi i Manastirit” school, focused on the Environment module for two months, where they learned more about the protection and its impact on our way of life. They also understood methods and ideas for environmental protection and how they can apply these methods in their homes and communities.

In the end they planned and implemented a Service-Learning project around the Environment module, where they created a summer classroom together with chairs and benches and also equipped it with lighting reflectors.

Elita, an enthusiastic Super Volunteer, emphasized the growth of skills such as teamwork, critical thinking and leadership during project implementation. She also mastered the use of compressor equipment for coloring, showing her dedication and enthusiasm.

The parents’ council, led by Burim Osmani, and the technical staff of the school played a decisive role during the coloring process, helping with dedication during the implementation of the project. In addition, they also provided food for the Super Volunteers during the working days.

The “Youth for Podujeva” project is a proof of the positive impact of community cooperation and youth engagement. As we reflect on the achievements, we look forward to further initiatives that will contribute to improving the lives of young people in Podujeva.

We are very grateful to the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sports of the municipality of Podujeva, with director Pajtim Balaj, for the financial support of this project.
