THE FIRST PART OF THE “SUPER-VOLUNTEERS” CAMP ENDED SUCCESSFULLY!

September 30, 2018

During the weekend around 40 campers from all over Kosovo developed new skills while contributing to their community. These youth developed their team work, public speaking and woodworking skills and learned how to create shelves and bins from recycled materials.

This time the service learning aspect of the camp is focused in Kaçanik, and the campers are working to improve the spaces at the “Idriz Seferi” primary school and “Feriz Guri & Vëllezërit Çaka” high school in Kaçanik.

The goal of this camp is to develop new skills and promote active citizenry among young people in Kosovo.

This camp is financed by the Democratic Society Promotion (DSP) project – financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (DANIDA), and managed by the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF). The camp is also supported by the Municipality of Prishtina and the company KIVO Kosova.
