8 YOUTH FROM KOSOVO EXPERIENCED INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE IN IOWA!

The Iowa-Kosova Youth Exchange students from Kosovo (Peja and Gjakova) and Iowa (Johnston and Ft. Dodge) continued building relationships with each other by participating in a Global Citizenship camp for 3 days.

During their camp experience, these youths did team-building and leadership activities, made s’mores, learned about Albanian and American culture, and started creating service projects to do in their communities! This was a unique opportunity for these youth to strengthen their relationships with each other and have a great camp experience.

//Thank you U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo for supporting our youth to get to Iowa, Iowa Sister States for their coordination, and the Iowa Sister City communities of Johnston and Ft. Dodge for hosting the Kosovar youth! Also, thank you to the Municipalities of Gjakova and Peja, who through their support are making this project possible.
