What are the awards in Category B: Supporters of Volunteering?

  • Most Supportive Business  of the Year
  • Most Supportive Municipality of the Year
  • Diaspora Ambassador Supporter of the Year
  • Most Supportive Public Figure of the Year

Who can be nominated?

For the “Business Supporter of the Year” award, all businesses/representatives of businesses that:

  • Are registered and operate in Kosovo,
  • Have contributed time, work, knowledge, funds to the community and volunteering during the period June 2023 – June 2024.

For the “Most Supportive Municipality of the Year” award, all municipalities/representatives of municipalities (directors, administrative staff) that:

  • Are in Kosovo,
  • Have contributed time, work, knowledge, funds, rewards to the community and volunteering during the period June 2023 – June 2024.

For the “Diaspora Ambassador Supporter of the Year” award, all individuals, schools, universities, organizations, associations, businesses, cultural-artistic societies and their representatives that:

  • Are registered and operate in the diaspora,
  • Have contributed time, work, knowledge, funds to the Kosovar and regional community and volunteering during the period June 2023 – June 2024.

For this Award there is a financial reward of 320 euros that were raised by Diaspora youth on the Solidarity Action Day in Diaspora – implemented by TOKA & Germin.

For the “Most Supportive Public Figure of the Year” award, all individuals known to the public with outstanding contributions in the fields of culture, sports, politics, social development, economy, journalism, entertainment, etc., that:

  • Live and operate in Kosovo,
  • Have contributed to the community and volunteering during the period June 2023 – June 2024.

Who can nominate?

Nominations can be submitted by any individual, municipality, business, organization, institution that has accurate information about the nominated business/municipality/diaspora ambassador/public figure. They can also nominate themselves if they belong to one of these profiles. An individual can nominate several different persons/institutions (without limit).
