Hatixhe joined TOKA in 2016, where over the years she has held various roles, including leading non-formal education programs, establishing national and international partnerships, and managing the team.
Hatixhe’s role at TOKA is to drive TOKA’s vision forward through strategic planning, developing collaborations with key stakeholders and interested parties, and managing the TOKA team.
She graduated in Psychology from the University of Prishtina and is the first Kosovar selected for the prestigious U.S. Department of State program, the “Community Solutions Program.” She has been trained in the Service-Learning Methodology by CLAYSS in Argentina and has been certified in the “Social Innovation and NGO Management” Program from the University of Vienna School of Economics and Business.
Her work with local institutions, national and international partners, teachers, school principals, and youth has prepared Hatixhe to deeply understand the needs of the education, civic activism, and volunteerism ecosystem in Kosovo and the region.
She believes that one of the biggest drivers of societal development is quality education and empowering young people for work and life. At TOKA, these two take center stage, and there is a dedicated effort to promote a new spirit in Kosovo. These things fuel her motivation to work every day towards this goal.
These are the latest developments from our programs and activities.
