SOLIDARITY ACTION DAY – Partnership Opportunity for Businesses

TOKA has started to implement a new youth project – Solidarity Action Day. 

What is Solidarity Action Day?

During Solidarity Action Day youngsters work in a company, business, or organization for a day and donate their earnings for a cause important to them. More than 100,000 youngsters around Europe participate in Solidarity Action Day yearly – and TOKA’s goal is to bring this initiative to Kosova. 

The first Solidarity Action day in Kosova will:

• be held on the first Sunday of June (3rd of June) or the second Saturday (10th of June),
• engage 500 young volunteers,
• engage over 50 partner businesses,
• support youth initiatives about mental health and children with special needs.

•  Exposure of your company as a progressive company with a vision; Exposure of your company as one of the first to support this ambitious  project.

To organize Solidarity Action Day for the first time in Kosova, we will need to create partnerships with businesses open to cooperate for the best of the community.

Solidarity Action Day is part of the environmental activities of the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (SIDA), through its “Human Rightivism” Program that is implemented by CDF and TOKA; is supported by the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) ‘EJA Kosova’ – co-financed by the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (SIDA), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg; as from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. This project is developed in cooperation with the SAME network of organizations.
