The Association of Albanian Students and Academics in Stuttgart supports 5 creative projects of Super Voluntary Clubs!

Five projects of Super-Volunteer clubs have been implemented in Podujevë, Prishtina, Ferizaj and Skënderaj. The projects have had such an impact, benefiting over 1000 community members.

These Super Volunteer clubs have achieved tremendous success in marathoning their projects, where among other things they have excellent resources for personal and educational development.

Rajmonda Geci, Super-Volunteer from the “Hyjnoret” club, says that it was a special experience that she had the opportunity to stay for a few hours and spend quality time with young people without family care in Skenderaj.

The best part was that they enjoyed our food and fun activity activities along with us which they enjoyed a lot.

“My profession, my future”

Club: “Alfa” at the “Kongresi i Manastir” School, Glamnik – Podujevë

Number of Super Volunteers: 22

Problem: Super Volunteers have little information about the professions they can choose for their future.

Solution: Motivating Super Volunteers to research and search for 21st century professions and the skills they should possess

Achievements: Building the Career Guidance Corner with a “Rolling Spinner” with information on 50 different professions that are most in demand in the 21st century. This spinner contains information on the skills that Super Volunteers must develop to be employed in the respective professions.

Lessons Learned: Super Volunteers have developed research skills, developed teamwork and teamwork.

Beneficiaries of the project: 500 school students

Summer Class at “Zenit” School

Club: “Zenit” at “Zenit” School, Pristina

Number of Super Volunteers: 20

Problem: Super Volunteers don’t have a summer class at their school.

Solution: Creating a summer class where students can study during the summer.

Accomplishments: Creating the summer classroom and equipping it with chairs and a board to take notes. Students have arranged the seats themselves using metal and wood. Then they painted the seats and put up a sign.

Lessons Learned: Super Volunteers have developed welding, woodworking, painting skills and developed teamwork and collaboration.

Project beneficiaries: 300 school students, 100 teachers, 150 children from the community.

“The Impact of Social Networking Trends on Behavioral Patterns”

Club: The New Borns, Prishtina

Number of Super Volunteers: 30

The Problem: Super Volunteers spend too much time on social media ignoring its negative impacts.

Solution: Bring about positive change by promoting awareness among young people about the role and influence of trends in behavioral patterns in their lives.

Achievements: Super Volunteers have held a panel discussion with professionals in the field about the impact of social networks on their behavior patterns. In addition, they distributed posters in the square and were invited to Radio Television of Kosovo to discuss the importance of the proper use of social networks.

Lessons Learned: Super Volunteers have developed communication skills, research, and are more creative.

Project beneficiaries: 100 young people from the community.

Fixing the memorial of the “Imri Halili” School

Club: Super Stars, Gacke – Ferizaj

Number of Super Volunteers: 20

Problem: The tombstone at the “Imri Halili” School was badly damaged.

Solution: Fixing the tombstone and cleaning the space around it.

Achievements: Super Volunteers have cleaned the area around the tombstone. They have also posted the biography in Albanian and English of the martyr whose name the school bears. They also arranged the space with electric lighting, for which the technical workers assisted.

Lessons Learned: Super Volunteers have developed research, communication skills and are more collaborative.

Project beneficiaries: 200 students, 50 teachers, 100 community members

Preparation of meals at the Home for the Elderly and without Family Care

Club: Hyjnoret, Skenderaj

Number of Super Volunteers: 15

Problem: Seniors in Nursing Homes and without family care do not have frequent visits.

Solution: Organizing meetings with them in order to spend quality time.

Achievements: Super Volunteers in cooperation with their families have prepared traditional meals and sent them to the Home for the elderly and without family care. They stayed there all day and also developed some creative games together.

Lessons Learned: Super Volunteers have developed cooking, communication skills and are more empathetic.

Beneficiaries of the project: 50 elderly people.

These Super Volunteers have been meeting for about eight months to come up with ideas for projects, have done community analysis and problems that need solving in their community.
