Haxhere through Service Learning wants to teach her students about the responsibility of active citizenship

May 19, 2020

Haxhere and her colleagues Drenusha and Sërije have been leading the Super-Volunteer Club from the Zenit school in Podujeva for two years now.

During this time, the club has completed several community projects, while Haxhere and her colleagues have acquired new teaching skills. Together, they have enriched the school library with cupboards and books, raised funds to help peers for the holiday season, cleaned the Llap River, and built seats and tables around the river. Haxherja, Drenusha, and Sërija as part of this program have received the title Super-Teachers while students Super-Volunteers!

This project is supported by the European Union Office in Kosovo, through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights EIDHR.
